ZESCO Signs 25-Year PPA For 500 MW Solar Project In Zambia

ZESCO Limited has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement with EnerSynk Group for a 500 MW solar power project to enhance Zambia’s renewable energy and reduce reliance on hydropower. This initiative aligns with economic growth targets and is expected to alleviate electricity shortages, generate significant revenue, and avoid millions of tons of CO2 emissions.
