Norway Provides NOK 150 Million Guarantee for 254 MW Thakadu Solar Project in South Africa

Norway has guaranteed up to NOK 150 million to support the Thakadu Solar power project in South Africa, aimed at addressing electricity supply issues and promoting renewable energy. Developed by Scatec, the 254 MW plant will supply clean energy directly to commercial customers, enhancing investment confidence and creating jobs while reducing reliance on coal.
