ARC Raiders, a highly anticipated retro-futuristic game, has officially launched on GeForce NOW, NVIDIA’s cloud gaming service. According to the GeForce NOW Community, players can access ARC Raiders for free with a purchase of a 12-month GeForce NOW Ultimate membership. This offer is part of a special promotion celebrating the game’s release.
Game Features and Cloud Performance
ARC Raiders sets players in a retro-futuristic world under siege by mysterious mechanical invaders known as the ARC. The game combines squad-based strategy with intense firefights, all wrapped in a distinct 1980s sci-fi aesthetic. Players must team up to fend off the ARC, utilizing scavenged weapons and strategic thinking across expansive environments.
With a GeForce NOW Ultimate membership, ARC Raiders streams at GeForce RTX 5080-class power, offering cinematic visuals at up to 5K resolution, smooth 120-frames-per-second gameplay, and real-time ray tracing on nearly any device. This allows players to experience the game with premium performance, regardless of their hardware.
Expanded Gaming Library
The launch of ARC Raiders coincides with the addition of ten new titles available to stream on GeForce NOW this week. These include The Outer Worlds 2, Guild Wars 2’s Visions of Eternity expansion, and Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, a classic from Capcom. Each game brings its own unique experience, from cosmic chaos in The Outer Worlds 2 to magical mayhem in Guild Wars 2.
Obsidian Entertainment’s The Outer Worlds 2 takes players to a new colony filled with alien life and moral dilemmas. Meanwhile, Guild Wars 2’s latest expansion introduces new regions, elite specializations, and the much-anticipated addition of homesteads and fashion templates.
GeForce NOW Infrastructure Upgrades
In addition to new game releases, NVIDIA continues to upgrade its cloud infrastructure. Sofia, Bulgaria, is the latest region to receive GeForce RTX 5080-class power, with Amsterdam and Montreal next in line. These upgrades aim to enhance the overall gaming experience and provide players with cutting-edge technology.
Players can track the progress of these upgrades on NVIDIA’s server rollout page, ensuring they stay informed about the latest enhancements to GeForce NOW’s capabilities.
With the launch of ARC Raiders and the expansion of its gaming library, GeForce NOW continues to solidify its position as a leader in cloud gaming. The platform’s ability to offer high-quality gaming experiences across a range of devices makes it an attractive option for gamers worldwide.
