Aircraft leasing and asset management firm Airborne Capital has completed the placement and delivery of a Boeing 767-300BCF on long-term lease to Amerijet International Airlines (Amerijet), adding further capacity to the Miami-based carrier’s expanding freighter fleet.

Amerijet, which has more than 50 years of experience in the cargo market, operates a dedicated fleet of 767-300 aircraft from its primary hub at Miami International Airport.

The airline currently serves 38 destinations across the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America and South America, supporting fast-growing regional air freight demand.

Cian Dooley, founding partner at Airborne Capital, said: “We are delighted to announce this transaction and to welcome Amerijet as a valued new customer for Airborne Capital. Amerijet is our 31st airline customer and it marks the third of several 767 freighter units that Airborne Capital has been remarketing.”

Joe Mozzali, chief executive of Amerijet, said: “We are thrilled to add a 10th converted 767 freighter to our fleet. This additional capacity will enable Amerijet to address the growing needs of our customers and the Latin America air freight market.”
