LAKE CITY, Fla. (WCJB) – The 1st tenant of the North Florida Mega Industrial Park in Columbia County is getting a big boost from the federal government.

Secretary Tom Vilsack announced on Thursday the USDA is investing in domestic fertilizer projects.

It includes a $4 million grant for agro-liquid, which broke ground in March.

The money will help build and equip the new facility, which the USDA expects will produce two million gallons of fertilizer components a year.
