The former White House aide, who served as Trump’s domestic policy chief during his first administration, previously served as the general deputy counsel and policy advisor for former Texas Gov. Rick Perry. If confirmed, she’d be the second woman to serve in the position.
The agriculture chief oversees a sprawling agency that controls policies, regulations and aid programs related to farming, forestry, ranching, food quality and nutrition. Missing ethics materials and financial disclosures delayed Rollins’ confirmation hearing.
