Local students are invited to attend a free Greenville Drive game next Tuesday, June 25 celebrating baseball and the numerous manufacturing and engineering companies in the Upstate. The 9th annual “Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Night” will take place at Fluor Field in downtown Greenville, SC. K-12 students and their families can explore interactive exhibits from companies including BMW, Michelin, Greenville Technical College, GE Vernova, Greenville County Schools, Milliken, Bosch, Bosch Rexroth, Duke Energy, Dodge Industrial, Arthrex, Ryobi, and Wauseon Machine.The event will also feature a panel discussion where industry leaders share career advice.Greenville Drive President Jeff Brown highlights the importance of the event in closing the talent gap and ensuring local graduates have the necessary skills for industry demands. “There are a lot of large companies that are based in the Upstate that really contribute to the quality of life, economic development impact, and a lot of the benefits that we all enjoy every day.
