Piedmont Lithium (ASX:PLL, OTC:PLLTL) Inc has tapped aerospace, energy and metals industries specialist and manufacturing expert Dawne Hickton to its board of directors, effective March 14, 2024.

She brings decades of corporate experience leading global manufacturing supply chain companies across a range of industries.

With a history of operational, commercial, financial and strategic success, the board believes she will further diversify Piedmont’s available executive, operational and strategic guidance.

“She has been both a public and private company CEO and has established a record of leading organizations through important periods of growth.

Highly regarded executive

Hickton previously served as CEO and chair of Cumberland Additive, Inc., a metal additive manufacturer of solutions for the aerospace, defence, energy and space markets.

She also retains membership to the National Space Council User’s Advisory Group, which is chaired by the Vice President of the United States to enable and propel America’s space objectives.

Prior to her current role, Hickton was the executive vice president of Jacobs and president of its Critical Mission Solutions business line, which provides engineering design and support services for NASA, the US Department of Energy, and other national security priorities.

She was also vice chair, president and CEO of RTI International Metals, Inc., a billion-dollar, vertically integrated global supplier of titanium mill products and fabricated metal components.
