HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) – Noah’s Ark Processors, which owns WR Reserve in Hastings, has been selected by the USDA to receive a $10 million grant.
According to a release sent by WR Reserve, the grant will go towards expanding their workforce and enhancing their operations.
They hope to add around 40 jobs to their workforce.
This grant will help allow them to expand their facility. In turn, they hope that they can add to their offerings, as they are one of only three kosher meat packing plants in the United States according to the USDA.
“At Noah’s Ark Processors we are dedicated to fostering local economic empowerment by creating new job opportunities and contributing to the prosperity of rural communities,” the press release read. “This grant will enable us to expand our workforce and enhance our operations, thereby bolstering our local economy.”
